ecsc was founded in 1982, to advance the knowledge and application of energy efficiency and renewable energy. ecsc 's first work was for the GLC on the barriers preventing the take up of energy efficiency. ecsc's main work now is the development and organisation of projects, aimed at householders of all income levels, large businesses, public sector establishments and local authorities. ecsc is also involved in many forms of renewable energy.

ecsc Vision

ecsc was founded by people who care about the future. Even before the issue of harmful climate change became widely known, the creators of ecsc believed that our society's dependence on fossil fuels must be reduced.

ecsc Staff members

ecsc has around fifteen core staff and several volunteers, and the numbers of both vary according to which projects are "live" at any one time. ecsc is currently in an expanding phase, and is considering larger contracts than it has bid for in the past.
