Sustainable Energy Planning Support Services

In 2005, ecsc launched a new range of sustainable energy support services aimed at local authority Planning Departments that include the practical software tools and planners training needed to design and implement renewable energy policies such as the Merton 10% or national guidance such as PPS22 and regional policies such as Surrey SE2.

Home Energy Conservation Act (HECA) Support and Services

Under the Home Energy Conservation Act, local authorities have been tasked with achieving a 30% improvement in the energy efficiency of housing in their areas by 2012. In order to assist in meeting this challenging target, ecsc can with suitable resources help local authorities improve the energy efficiency of housing and to develop the use of sustainable energy in their area. The activities of ecsc helps support local authority officers in their work and to encourage and develop new project initiatives.
